Lebron

Lebron

Lebron James this, Lebron James that. WHERE IS LEBRON GOING TO SIGN!!! Is he going to stay with his hometown Cavs? Is he going to go to the Bulls, the Knicks, Heat, Nets. CONFUSELDNESS!!! I think the Knicks are just about out of contention, the Nets, maybe. And the Heat? HE doesn’t want to play along side his friendly Dwayne Wade. Or in other words, share the spotlight. I think the Bulls will land Lebron. NOT just because I’m a Bulls fan, but because Lebron likes Chicago and the Bulls have been making sacrifices to get him. LIKE TRADING MY HOMEBOY CAPTAIN KIRK TO THE WIZARDS!!! For all you Non-Chicagoers that don’t know who Captain Kirk is, it’s Kirk Hinrich. Kirk was a team leader, was solid and consistent, and was a good team player, even though he didn’t start. But he should have started. But if the Bulls get Lebron, I will completely forget about my homeboy Kirk because Lebron is AMAZING!!! If Lebron goes to the Bulls, they will win the NBA championship. Mark my words. Peace out.

NBA MADNESS!!!

NBA DRAFT BABY!!! The thing that most surprised me about the draft is that three Kentucky starters got drafted in the first round. WOWZERS!!! Now they will be horrible!!! I can just see the headline in Kentucky newsapapers now…

KENTUCKY WINS THREE GAMES IN 2011 AFTER STELLAR 2010 SEASON! WHAT HAPPENED?

Mmmmm. I really do wonder what happened… (Insert sarcasm) Maybe all three of your starters left selfishly for the NBA!!! Duh. Get with it Kentucky.

Now, I’m not saying this whole headline thing will happen, but I think Kentucky will have a horrible season next year… mark my words. Peace out!

That’s how the American section of the crowd sounded after Ghana scored their second goal of the match today. Pure disappointment. I was gone while the game was happening, but when I got home and checked the score, my heart sank. I think U.S. soccer actually had some supporters, and they still do, but a win today would have boosted their fan support. And in overtime! Killer. Here is a video with the highlights. Sorry the quality isn’t very good; it’s the only one I could find.

This world is coming to an end

As I was browsing the front page on Yahoo.com today, one particular article caught my eye.  Its title: Is Cheerleading a Sport? This should be interesting. I click on the link and it sais that a college has replaced women’s volleyball with cheerleading. FOR REAL!?!?!?! I’m not saying that cheerleading isn’t hard or anything, but this is just rediculous. Volleyball is more of a sport than cheerelading will ever be. I see beach volleyball on TV all the time, yet not once have I seen a cheerleading competition. Why? I think the question answers itself. Here is a link to the video…

Sports people are so dumb

Posted: June 21, 2010 in Uncategorized

Overall, sports people are dumb. I’m not saying that sports are dumb, but I can think of about 10,459 examples of people related to sports who have done dumb things, from golf to football. Like the two most recent examples. A U.S. open announcer making a comment on the gulf oil spill in relation to the golfers. Unnecessary? Maybe. Funny and gets good press? Yes. I don’t know if he did it for show or not, but one thing is for sure, they’ll never ask him to announce again. Anyway going on to football. Stve Smith breaking his arm playing FLAG FOOTBALL. Now I played a year of TACKLE football, and I never got injured seriously. And he goes to play a wimpy, watered-down version of the same game just to get hurt. Terrrrrific. He claims it was for a kids camp he was runnnig, but other sources say that it was for a competitive adults league he always competes in. I don’t know which one it was, but the end result is the same: his arm is broken. And why if you’re and NFL reciever, would you play in a competitive adults league. YOU WOULD UTTERLY EMMBARASS EVERYONE ELSE WITH YOUR SKILLS! I’ll stop ranting now and let you get on with life. Come back soon. I should have a new post up in a day or two!
